Whe I switch on the psp even if I hold the R button down I just get the normal menus appear i. The only options I could see with umd are under the system settings menu, they are UMD auto start, umd cache. When going into recovery mode holding R during boot up make sure you are turning the PSP completely off and not into sleep mode.
Hold the power button up for a few seconds till the PSP turns completely off. Last edited: Jun 21, It does get confusing sometimes they say hit select to mean the X and obviously sometimes they realy mean the select button. Forgot it even existed , I've hardly used it. Anyone please help, I could not play any game in my psp. This problem started when the game suddenly freeze when I tried to enter sleep mode. After that the time and date system go wacko. When I tried to fix it, it says internal error and my psp restart.
Top Voted Answer. Get a disk cleaner and put it on your UMD with a cloth anything else idon't know. I had it and i fixed it the same way.
